Fashion “Friendly” Friday

I hope you’re ready for a nice weekend.  What are we doing this weekend?  Not much, hopefully we’ll go on “Jungle Ride!”  A jungle ride is what my dad called it when he put us kids in the car when he wanted to explore a nearby city. Usually we did things like going to an open house, horse back riding or driving until we ended up in Santa Barbara or Vegas.

For those of you who are reading this blog for the first time, Fashion “Friendly” Friday is where I show you how I will turn my closet into an environmentally friendly wardrobe by learning to Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse.

So, I didn’t have to go far this week for Fashion “Friendly” Friday. I decided to shop in my own closet.  The Ann Taylor Loft blouse is 100% cotton and used to be very long.  I was never able to find the right pants or skirt to go with it, until I  decided to have it hemmed, cost $2 bucks.  Now it’s the perfect fit and I’m looking forward to wearing it this spring. The turquoise bracelet  is from a local resale shop, cost, $1.00.  All it needs is a good cleaning (its sterling silver)  and it will be as good as new.

I hope you have a nice weekend, whether you take a jungle ride or not:)

Thank you for reading my post.  If you like what you’ve read,  subscribe, or follow me on Facebook, or what my mom calls bookFace, lol!  Love you mom:)
