So I wanted to give you an update on the products I’ve been using for the past week from my previous post Is Organic skin care too greasy?. Let’s start with the Avalon Organics hand & body moisturizer.
Pros:
1. Smells like I’m at a day spa. The grapefruit & geranium scent is something I’ll never get tired of. It’s not too strong or too mild.
2. No animal testing. 100% vegetarian ingredients
3. Made in the U.S.A.
4. The consistency of the lotion is perfect. My hands don’t feel greasy after applying.
5. Reasonably priced-I checked my receipt and I actually got it on sale for $7.99, normally $11.99
Cons: It only comes in a 12 fl oz.
Overall-I give it 4.5 out of 5 Little Pumpkins
Alright, now Alba Botanica’s Even Advanced sea moss moisturizer.
Pros:
1. Great consistency-I have combination skin and it feels light on my face.
2. No animal testing products. Contains natural, organic and cruelty-free ingredient alternatives which are 100% vegetarian.
3. Made in the U.S.A.
4. Hypoallergenic and has SPF 15 .
Cons: I don’t like the smell. It smells perfumey. I wish it was more organic and less purfumey.
Overall: 3.5 out 5 Little Pumpkins.
P.S. I lost my entire make up bag the other day and I’m so bummed. I went back to my local Sprouts store last night and picked up a tube of Alba Botanica Pineapple Quench clear lip gloss (it smells like Hawaii) for $2.25 and I love it!
