Fashion “Friendly” Fridays-March Madness!!

Welcome to Fashion “Friendly” Friday where I show you how I recycle, reduce, and reuse to make my wardrobe more environmentally friendly. Today I’m so excited to show you my loot for LPD. I purchased all 4 items for Little  Pumpkin Doodle for $17.51 and that includes tax! All were purchased at my local children’s retail store. So here’s the breakdown.

The 100% cotton red polka-dot dress is a Gymboree. It has a tiny stain in the upper right hand corner. I asked for a discount and got it for $2.75. After a good wash with baking soda and vinegar you can barely see it.

The white flower dress is Laura Ashley and I paid a little bit more ($6.50), but I thought it was worth it. The dress is fully lined in 100% cotton and is in perfect condition. As soon as I brought it home, LPD couldn’t wait to try it on.

The white corduroy skirt is OP. Do you remember OP shorts back in the 80’s? Anyway I picked up the skirt for $3.50 and the green shorts underneath are OshKosh, $3.50 perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, which is also my father’s birthday.

It seems like everything is on sale, so get out there and grab yourself a deal. I’ve got to go, Little Pumpkin Doodle and I have a play date.

Hope you’re enjoying Fashion “Friendly” Fridays. Have a great weekend! Enjoy!

  1. I have always shopped at resale shops for my 3 children there are always great deals to be found. It does take patience to sift thru the racks of clothes but when I find a great deal its so worth it and a lot of fun. I have to share with you my great find. A hardley used adult size L.L.Bean sleeping bag for 7.99 at my local Goodwill. Gosh I love A good deal!
Great looking clothes for your LPD.

    • Hi Fella It’s always good to hear from you. I agree with you, it does take patience to sift through the clothing at thrift stores. I have to admit as a teenager, I would have died if my mother suggested going to the Goodwill or resale store to find clothes, lol!

o.k. YOU SCORED with the L.L. Bean adult sleeping bag, 7.99, I’m so jealous! Hope you have a great weekend.

  2. Immacula Genece says:

Wow good deal they look lovely. I can not wait to hear for your next deal.

  3. Prepare a tender document to be circulated in order to determine the reputed
movers firm while stating your specifics of moving and your requirement clearly on that document.
Additionally, you would end up creating a lot of mess and incurring additional costs
as well. In case you want to have the furniture stored
at the moving company until you receive them in the new place
give neat added padding to the items before they are boxed.
